In honor of Chinese New Year, we hoofed it over to Pearl River Mart — that mecca of Chinese decor and housewares in Manhattan. A must-visit for every tourist and local alike, the three-story department store has just about everything you can imagine for your home like authentic furniture, accessories, clothing — and a healthy dose of kitsch.

We’ve snapped some of our favorite picks from Pearl to help you get festive for the Year of the Dragon.

It wouldn’t be a Chinese New Year celebration without putting on a traditional face masks like these oversized ones. Fear not, if you’re not going to go all out, they have small ones, too!

The Year of the Water Dragon bodes for either natural disasters or prosperity. Ensure it’s the latter by surrounding yourself with dragon paraphernalia.

We were intrigued by a series of dragon incense sets — the perfect topper for any mantle piece — but for an aggressive dragon statement, break out with this rainbow dragon statue.

You do yoga. You’re practically enlightened — what better than a Buddha statue to complete that Zen modern feel to your home?
